Intergalactic Virgin (IV Facebook; IV CBC Radio 3) played a show at the Cathedral Arts Festival, May 2009. The first time I saw IV play was at the U of R, at least 2 years ago. It was highly experimental at that time, and a fan I did not become that day. But seeing them at the CAF last week changed my mind. Their sound has evolved and matured a great deal since that U of R show, IMHO. I really liked it, and I hope they keep gigging around the city.
Intergalactic Virgin here! Thanks for posting the video. Glad your a fan.
If you haven't seen us since 2009 art fest, your in for a real treat. The band has never been tighter, focused, creatively peaking, matured than ever before.
When you saw us the first time we were at the begins of our evolution as a band. Our sound tech knowledge, major upgrades in new/better audio equipment and raw experience has helped create the perfect package.
Regardless of what the beautiful people of planet earth enjoy artistically, the one category of fine arts that gets the most criticism is experimental art.
Though I.V. has pulled out of that genre and became a full fledged 'Acid-House/Big-Beat/Dance Band', we will always have a giant heart for the unique and extra wild.
Galactic thanks for anytime you have been at any of our shows, and its fantastical to hear that we have grown so much over the years.
The band also has online presence: 'Soundcloud' 'Reverbnation'
